Hutch is Now Vodafone in India
September 21, 2007 India, Mobiles, News

It’s not yet proven whether Good or Bad news for the Indian Guys. But I’m guessing it’s Good for India. The major Telecom (Mobile Communications) Operator in India, HUTCH is now bought by another major Global Telecom Provider VODAFONE.
This buying will surely affect the major part of India and it’s global face. So far, all the International Websites and Telecom Providers (including some Mobile Manufacturers) never provided customized services for India. But from now on, we can say we’re part of Vodafone which will bring the ultimate change in customized mobile services for India.
Also I’m eagerly expecting this switchover to bring more mobile services like 3G, EDGE and WiFi. Currently the EDGE and WiFi are already there in India but in very small amounts. But 3G is yet to come and with it, I’m expecting more wider services of all major mobile services.
Let’s see what will be the new soon…

Vodafone is horrible… i mean, look at the ads… its as if they are trying despirately to get a hold of the market.
The latest ad, block the callers… dont you think thats pretty rude to let the caller know that “the vodaphone user you are tryin to call doesnt wish to recieve your call”
The ad by Airtel with the 2 kids is too good… look at the concept… vodaphone is gotta work on the concepts like hutch and airtel…
