Outlook Error: Out of memory or system resources

Some times when you open Outlook and/or try Sending and Receiving, you may be given the infamous Error as below:

“Sending and Receiving reported error (0x8007000E): Out of memory or system resources”

This issue may arise because of any of the following reasons:

  • The Mapi32.dll is damaged or incorrect
  • The Inbox contains a damaged Email message
  • Your current Email Profile is damaged

To solve this issue follow the methods below as per the reason above (or all one by one if you’re not sure of the reason)

Solution 1: Mapi Repairing

  1. Open Start -> Run
  2. Type cmd or command and press Enter key
  3. Type CD\ and press Enter
  4. Type CD %systemroot%\system32 and press Enter
  5. Type Fixmapi.exe and press Enter

Solution 2: Delete the damaged Email Message

  1. Your Email Inbox may have a damaged Email message
  2. Visit the Web Mail from a Browser
  3. Click on Inbox
  4. Search for any Mail that looks like corrupt or not opening properly
  5. Delete the Mail or move it to some other Folders for Backup
  6. Close Web Mail from Browser

Solution 3: Create a new Email Profile

  1. Depending upon your Outlook Version the New Email Profile creation may vary
  2. Outlook 2000 Email profile creation
  3. Outlook 2002 Email profile creation
  4. Outlook 2003/2007 Email profile creation

After this, try to Open the Outlook and you will NOT be getting this Error anymore.
